What is the WVRF?

Started in 2004, and officially recognized in 2005, the West Viriginia Rugby Foundation is a public benefit foundation which has been formed under the West Virginia Nonprofit Corporation Act and has been recognized as a 501(c)3 organization. Started by Jon Niles (Mon River Mud Lobsters player, Mon River Mud Dogs Coach, WVU Men Coach) and Gus Schuler (WVU Men Alumni, Mon River Mud Lobster Co-Founder and Player, WVU Women Coach), the Foundation is now composed of 5 member teams and other individuals who have banded together in order to develop and advance the amateur sport of rugby union football within the state of West Virginia.
